This unit would still be remarkable even if it was several hundred dollars more. Four simultaneous 24 bit, 192 kHz inputs in a bus powered, portable package is priceless. Amazing sound with virtually no noise. I have a 8-input, PCI controlled Echo Layla 24/96 interface and a 8-input, Firewire Presonus 24/96 FirePod interface as well. The Behringer is definitely quieter and the sound is more transparent. I can use it with my laptop on location since it's bus powered. I use it in class with my students and of course in the studio. I use the interface with Vegas Pro 14, Adobe Audition CC and Mixcraft Pro 8. I highly recommend this product.
